Plan for Formative Meetings
- Introducing ourselves
- Overview of various avenues/experiences of “finding”
- What Raja Yoga tools offer to the search.
- What the facilitating instructor is motivated to offer along the way.
Future Plans/Resources for “Spiritual Finders”
- Ongoing Raja Yoga/Meditation study: Sunday 6:00-8:00pm, Earth Fare, GBO.
- Meditation Workshop (~2hrs)
[will require a less public venue] - Regular meditation group
[Now that we meet in the comfort of Earth Fare’s community room we incorporate brief meditations during Sunday meetups.] - Advanced resources online
For consistent attendees, additional material will become available through on-line login.
Still on the Fence?
- The spiritual grandfather of yoga in America, Paramahansa Yogananda, said about spiritual pursuits:
- “Seek until you find the spiritual teaching that draws and fully satisfies your heart. Once having found it, let nothing touch your loyalty again. Give that path your full attention.”
- So if you have already found, you probably don’t need this Spiritual Finders group. If not... we’ll be considering some strategies and tactics for discerning one’s path!
